Sixth Form

Tram House Sixth Form enables children and young adults aged 16-19 to reach their next steps and gain independent skills within the community.

We have developed a pathways model that hones the skills of our young adults in a number of key areas: academic; vocational and independent living skills.

Pupils have access to a full and wide-ranging curriculum. Throughout their time in Sixth Form, learners participate in a range of enrichment opportunities and are encouraged to give staff their feedback on their enjoyment and capability on each activity.

The Behaviour Analysts use the pupil feedback to further develop individualised programmes that are responsive to our pupils’ needs empowering them to lead as independent a life as possible. By providing just enough support we aim to prepare our pupils for their lives after education.

In May 2022, Tram House School Sixth Form was rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

 Ofsted Report - May 2022

"The sixth form is a hive of activity. Staff have a clear focus on what each pupil must achieve during their three years in the sixth form. Pupils gain a range of qualifications that help prepare them for life after school."
