Careers Day 2022

Today was Careers Day at Tram House School. Sixth Form pupils getting ready for their next steps had individual sessions with Emily Ross, Specialist Vocational Advisor to work on their vocational profiles. They will use this to consider what they would like to get out of employment as well as sharing the skills they have and the ones they’d like to improve on.

The younger pupils took part in different work experience sessions at the school. They went on rotations where they found out what it is like to work in an office, or in a library where they had to carefully label different books. There was also the Tram House shop where pupils were selling items to their fellow pupils and staff members, carefully collecting money and counting out change.

The day finished with an employability session for parents hosted by Emily and they also had the chance to meet some external partners who came in to talk about what they do.
